Night at the Museum Celebrations, as part of International Museum Day

The National Museum invited us to conduct a public walk as part of the ‘Night at the Museum’ celebration for International Museum Day, 2022. We enjoyed bringing the Museum alive with Musical-History and Storytelling for an enthusiastic audience enjoying the rare experience of walking through the Museum at Night!

The team at Harappa Education enjoyed an excursion at the Museum, engaging with sculptures, paintings, instruments, and more, through 4500 years of history from the Harappan Civilization onwards!

A public walk and homage to Sharan Rani Bakliwal on Independence Day

The National Museum invited us to conduct a public walk as part of their series of celebrations for Independence Day 2019. The walk was also a homage to Sharan Rani Bakliwal – Sarod Queen, and contributor to the musical instruments gallery.

Music as a Method of Inquiry : History Class Excursion for school-students

What better place for a History lesson than a Museum with a rich collection. Students of Metro Delhi International School had their History lesson walking through many of the galleries at the National Museum, with Music as the central theme, where the observed artefacts closely, asked and answered questions, discovered connections!

An immersive workshop exploring the music within everyday objects

We brought out the playful inner child of participants as they enjoyed exploring the sounds of everyday objects and tried creating music through them. They engaged with different kinds of materials and voices within this impromptu orchestra!

Stories can go a long way, and children know this best! With engaging stories, the group of school-children was rearing to walk through gallery after gallery at the National Museum

The Vienna Boys’ Choir, on tour in India

We enjoyed engaging with the curious singers of the Vienna Boys’ Choir (one of the oldest surviving boys choirs internationally) during their tour in India. The boys didn’t hesitate to hum along on hearing music accompanying some of the artefacts!

The Qutub Minar Complex is an architectural wonder, with not just impressive towers and domes, but also interesting history, and intriguing myths and stories. Alumni from Ashoka University enjoyed learning about the stories hidden within these stones

Dads and children of Entrepreneurs’ Organization Gurgaon enjoyed a sunny winter morning exploring the Qutub Minar Complex, listening to stories from the past, and playing games around it!
